Photo Essay of Weekend Camping Trip to Guadalupe River State Park

The family took off for the Texas Hill Country over Thanksgiving weekend and camped for two nights at Guadalupe River State Park (about an hour and a half drive from Austin).  It was ideal camping weather.  The days were lovely and it was nice and crisp in the evenings-perfect for cozying up next to a warm fire.  Add to that the beautiful fall foliage, a fun kids’ discovery center,  and s’mores for desert each night.  This might just be the beginning of a new family tradition.
