SFC Downtown Farmers’ Market

Looking for a fun outdoor activity for your Saturday mornings?  The SFC Downtown Farmer’s market is my favorite farmer’s market in Austin.

Now that the weather is cooling down, you can take your time strolling through the vendor aisles, grabbing fresh, locally grown produce.

I really enjoy the location.  With the Republic Square Park location, you get the hustle and bustle of being downtown AND the kids have a nice, big green space on which they can run around and have fun.  There are plenty of places to sprawl out on the grass or sit at a table and eat one of the many ready-made goodies available.

And, this being Austin, of course there has to be live music!

Call it a day, or head over to the 2nd Street District for shopping or lunch, or go for a stroll on Lady Bird Lake.
